Vice President
As the Vice President of Loud Art Society, your primary duties include developing strategies to meet fundraising goals and create sustainable revenue for the organization. You plan fundraising events and approach potential new donors for support. your position involves building long-term relationships with donors, especially those that may provide a major gift or donation.
Responsibilities

Acts as the President in his or her absence

Working with the Executive Directors to develop fundraising strategies and yearly budget plan

Reports to and works closely with the President to assist with his or her duties

Assigned to a special area of responsibility such as membership, media, personnel, annual event, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned by the President

Maintaining positive relationships by liaising between the organization, the public, member municipalities, government departments and other stakeholders;

Create and foster and maintain a strong network of support in various sectors including the three levels of government (municipal, provincial, federal), nonprofit sector, public enterprise, and philanthropic

Foster strong business bonds and professional relationships with staff, media, the board and all other stakeholder

Play a leading role in fundraising activities

Discuss and Review with the Chief Executive any issues of concern to the Board

Monitor financial planning and financial reports

Help guide and mediate Board actions with respect to organizational priorities and governance concerns

Evaluate annually the performance of the organization in achieving its mission
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Business, or relevant field.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a nonprofit board member.

Strong knowledge of nonprofit industry and regulations.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills.
