Director of Finance - Fundraising Expert
As a director of finance, your primary duties include developing strategies to meet fundraising goals and create sustainable revenue for the organization. You plan fundraising events and approach potential new donors for support. your position involves building long-term relationships with donors, especially those that may provide a major gift or donation.
Responsibilities

Working with the Executive Directors to develop fundraising strategies and yearly budget plan

Analyzing and reporting on financial performance.

Overseeing audit and tax functions

Take part in planning and participating in fundraising events

Create and foster and maintain a strong network of support in various sectors

Actively soliciting gifts, participating in creating and maintaining partnerships sponsorship, and other fund development activities

Partner with the Executive Director and other Board members to ensure resolutions are carried out and action items are completed.

Approve, where appropriate, policy and other recommendations received from the Executive Director and the Board

The Board, in conjunction with the Executive Director, ensures that LOUD Art Society is in compliance with all laws affecting not for profit organizations, and has sound risk-management practices
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience

Proficiency in accounting software.

At least 5 years financial management experience.

Strong aptitude for math.

Excellent communications and networking skills.

Computer literacy.

Strong analytical skills.

Broad knowledge of accounting principles.

Previous successful fundraising experience

Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
This is a 3 year-term position serving as a board member
