Cup of Calm: A Therapeutic Clay Workshop to Craft your own Mug
Take a mindful pause and shape something beautiful with your own hands in Cup of Calm, a therapeutic clay workshop led by Ellen from Artme Ceramics. In this hands-on session, participants will be guided through the soothing process of hand-building their very own ceramic mug — a vessel for comfort, creativity, and calm.
No experience is needed — just a willingness to slow down, connect with the material, and enjoy the meditative rhythm of working with clay. As you form, smooth, and personalize your mug, you’ll also explore the therapeutic benefits of tactile creation and mindful making.
Perfect for beginners, art lovers, or anyone seeking a gentle and grounding creative experience.
It’s time to take control, enhance well-being, and perform at your best in work, life, and everything you do!
All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring any special items you'd like to incorporate into your practice. Your finished mug will be kiln-fired and you will be contacted to pick up your piece later.
Space is limited, so register early to secure your spot! Come nurture your creativity in a supportive and artistic environment—we look forward to creating with you!
This workshop is in support of LOUD Art Society's 10 year anniversary and all proceeds will be used towards our fundraising efforts.
